Willie Nelson Will Mosey on Down to the City of Tulsa for an Incredible Performance
Country music legend Willie Nelson has added a Tulsa tour date at the BOK Center to his 2018 schedule. The famed “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” singer will be appearing with Alison Krauss at the BOK Center on Wednesday, May 16.
With a six-decade career and 200-plus albums, Nelson is the creative genius behind the historic recordings of “Crazy,” “Red Headed Stranger” and “Stardust.” He has earned every conceivable award as a musician and amassed reputable credentials as an author, actor and activist, according to a press release. He continues to thrive as a progressive musical and cultural force.
In recent years, he has delivered more than 10 new album releases, released a Top 10 New York Times’ bestseller book, headlined Farm Aid, an event he co-founded in 1985, received his fifth-degree black belt in Gong Kwon Yu Sul, headlined the past three years of the ongoing Luck Reunion food and music festival at his ranch in Luck, Texas, during SXSW, announced the launch of his cannabis company, Willie’s Reserve, and graced the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
At Ridgemont Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
